If you read the debug, you'd find a file_read error. Close HEK+ and any other Halo-related programs.

yess. i noticed that hek+ wasnt letting me extrect because tags\characters\cyborg\fp\bitmaps\cyborg hands multipurpose.bitmap' is open and it is the same with sapien

No no no. It's a file_read error, not a file_open error. To fix it, CLOSE HEK+, AND Sapien. Wait a few minutes, then start up Sapien.

this might be a little confusing to you so i recorded exacly what i am seeing when i open sapien. the recording program slows my computer down alot. there are no viruses attatched it is a .avi file
