Get ready for some chocolate pain...

Alright. I've been working on a mod of... a certain map... for some time now. For the most part, I've been fixing the terrain to lower poly count and make it more functional to suit the purposes of the mod. However, since it's such a large map, the terrain in it is pretty low poly. Like SO low poly that if you drove a Warthog around on it, the hills and dips would be single edges and/or faces. Since I want the terrain to be a bit more realistic, I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who is good with terrain and is willing to... "complexify" the terrain and make it a bit smoother.
The map is only in the terrain stage, and I haven't put in the city that I am planning to put in. I made a bridge to replace the one that was there, but I'll have to find out a way to connect it smoothly to the terrain.
If you're interested, please let me know.

You can use smoothing groups but they only work to a extent. You will need more faces if you want the hills to look "realistic".

Well, uhh, could you tell me how? I'm not doing the terrain work in MAX, and the smoothing groups can only do so much, as you said. Think of it like this: You know Coldsnap's big, angular terrain? I want to make it so that there's terrain that's much smoother, maybe even on a level like that of Ambush's hills/dunes.
