Well I sorta know how but I have a few questions about it. Well I am not the most advanced modeler or mapper here I am a basic mapper. So when you are trying to rotate the faces or polygons (do you rotate the faces or polygons?) which view port should you rotate them in? And which way should you rotate them?

Before you ask any questions, go look for and watch Massacre's tutorial on cliff modeling. That one shows you a lot about the tools, and how to do things pretty good. It's a beginner type cliff modeling method IMO, but it teaches you the basics.

For plane modeling, you can turbo smooth or use large amounts of smoothing on the cliffs. Make sure it doesn't look ugly. When it doesn't ball your eyes out, it should look awesomer.
