I've searched everywhere and can't find whatever mechanic does this. In the c10 swamp water, and I think coolant as well but I'm not sure, if you have an assault rifle or pistol and fire it underwater, bubbles come out of your gun. I think I may have found the tag for the bubbles, effect\particles\bubbles.particles but I can't find what creates them. I searched the fog tag, bsp tag, weapons tag, projectile tag, globals.globals even the scripts. Nothing. If you know anything about these bubbles, or particles, please help! I'm sure other would also like to know how to have effects come out of weapons when they are in certain conditions!
ALSO: How do you make a heightmap from max? I know it has something to do with "render to texture".
And is there a way to find faces in 3ds max that have slope greater then 45? I know "automatic flatten uvw" can find them, but it's not very helpful for editing them.
One more thing, how easy would it be to attach the marine assault rifle flashlight beam to the players so they have it when they turn on their helmet flashlight? Edited by Vick Jr on Jan 1, 2009 at 04:55 PM
