As the title says I have some questions to ask / help required regarding my UI project. I also refer you to another of my topics where I have some more info on some of the problems:
http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=195211. Apart from Bungie's .sound_looping tags music that plays fine in multiplayer won't in the UI (the problem varies, somtimes the music is played too fast, and somtimes it gets part way through the tune and ethier cuts out or jumps back to the begining of the sound).
2. Does anyone know how to take the colour select list (the vertical list of buttons in the middle of the screen that you click to change your colour) and make it into a spinner list (like on the vehicles screen of edit gametypes (where it says "NONE, 1, 2, 3" or "4" and you press the arrow to toggle between them). (I've tried, the game exceptioned the way I did it).
3. Does anyone know how to make the select level screen pass the information to the picture, completed difficulties, map description etc. into a different tag instead of the extended description (I've put this on the first campaign screen you see (along-side the "Continue campaign", "Load Game" and "Back To Main Menu" buttons) and the select list is getting in the way a bit, so I would like to toggle it's visibility while leaving the picture etc. visible constantly. For this I was thinking something along the lines of my question 4 in the other topic "Is there a way I can make a child widget in a .ui_widget_definition invisible and the buttons on it un-clickable(and un-enter-key-able) unless you click a button to show them (and then return the .ui_widget_definition to it's invisible state when you click another button.)"
4. (Direct copy from other topic) How do you make the dust.scenery appear in a UI and how do you make animated scenery animate in a UI? (I have the same tags compiled in a multiplayer map with the same bsp and both dust and animations appear correctly there.)
I'm sure I had more than 4 questions, if any more come to me I'll edit this and add them.
