When Compiling my Scenario File, I get this:
Choose a type for the shader "dangercanyon_cliff_walls parent" : 1.shader_environment 2.shader_model 3.shader_transparent_generic 4.shader_transparent_chicago 5.shader_transparent_chicago_extended 6.shader_transparent_water 7.shader_transparent_glass 8.shader_transparent_meter 9.shader_transparent_plasma choice <1-9>:
What do I pick? Edited by Sabre on Dec 14, 2008 at 08:01 AM

Boy this is annoying, bet you guys tear your hair out everytime. ARRRRRRGH. I defined each shader as shader_environment and now it tells me "Some shaders were not defined" and I got no Scenario file >.< DAMMIT TO HELL. I Redid the Compile command and now it tells me some edges are open -.- How do I go to these edges without having to go through the whole bunch? Edited by Sabre on Dec 14, 2008 at 08:34 AM

V.V I followed Yayap_the_grunt's Map making tutorial all the way up to Part 3d (no pun) - Basic level editing, this is where the errors with Cmd came up, I use Gmax. you have to make the shaders before you compile... i learn it the hard way and so i have to make them myself unless you making a varient of death island or something just take the shaders from there to use

Edited by Sabre on Dec 15, 2008 at 02:02 AMDEAR GOD, SO MANY ERRORS. This is too much -.- I started over and everything went fine, until we come to command prompt -.- Now it tells me there are #377 degenerate triangles, then it tells me which triangles they are. Can someone please help export it for me? I'll send you the files and include you in credits >.< Edited by Sabre on Dec 15, 2008 at 03:25 AM

Quote: --- Original message by: EnergyShoes117 YEs that problems shows up all the time. just hit 1 and continue. Also if just make the sky taller if u want a higher mountain. Also if someoen exports to you they still ahve to fix ur degenrated triagnle. but It asks me for each texture I used, and then it it tells me "Some shaders were not defined" I Don't want the player to be able to go over the mountain, just see it. I don't know how to fix it -.- Besides, I saved a backup in case it pulled this bull. all they have to do is make the frame, do the linkage and export it to a scenario, all I need. Hey guys, I re-redid my map, and on closer inspection, I find that lowering the sky vertexes to the right point turn the cliff vertexes a yellow-ish gray, does that mean the map is sealed correctly?
