You're putting the tags in the wrong place, or you dont' have all of them. Read the readmes, it normally tells you where, or you can manually open every tag in Guerilla and fix all the red text.

Sigh... First of all, I'm assuming it's a weapon. If not, then bingo, there's your problem. Assuming it is a weapon, make sure you put it in the correct place. For example, if it came in a tags folder, drag everything from inside the tags folder inside the tags folder and merge all the correct folders. To fix red text, either open up the tag in Guerrilla and find any red text you see and redirect it. OR Go to Sapien, try to load the tag, watch it fail miserably, close Sapien. Go to Halo Custom Edition folder and find the file called debug.txt . Find the last few lines, and find any file_open errors and the file next to that. That is the tag you are missing. Extract it, rename something to that, as long as you get a tag like that, it will work.

Open the .weapon tag in Guerilla. Scroll down slowly and find any text that is red. When you find said red text, look at what it is looking for, say a .effect tag. Locate that .effect tag or clear the box with the red text.

Are you serious? Oh I see. What I meant was open the folder, highlight everything inside, and drag that inside the correct folder. Example: I downloaded a file! It's called test.zip! I open it inside, and what do I see? A folder marked tags! Amazing! So what do I do with it? I drag the folder inside the Halo Custom Edition folder, and wait for Windows to say "Are you sure you want to merge?" or something like that. Then I click YES! And it merges! Now it's inside the correct folder! But I download another tag. It comes in a folder marked test. Inside has the .weapon file as well as the projectiles and stuff. Hmmmm... What do I do with it? Oh I know, I drag the entire folder marked "test" into the weapons folder because its a weapon!!! Now I know how to put files inside other folders! Class dismissed kids! I'm feeling really sarcastic today... Quote: --- Original message by: Gamma927 and redirect it
Quote: --- Original message by: SDAIRSTRIKE um...... how
First of all, once you see what tag that is missing in the debug.txt file, at the very bottom, it will say what files could not be opened (Not the ones that are missing). Go to Guerrilla, and open up those files, and look for red text. Hit the button marked "..." next to that, and find another tag that is similar, or browse to that tag if you have it. For example, you open CMT's SMG and some firing effect is missing. In Guerrilla you find the file that could not be found. Browse to the Assault Rifle's firing effect and it works. Any more questions? Edited by Gamma927 on Nov 29, 2008 at 08:48 PMEdited by Gamma927 on Nov 29, 2008 at 08:48 PM
