Not all of us are christans. Just have it be a "Holiday" contest.

We living in North America.

We know Christmas as a holiday. Just because its known to be connected to something else.. doesn't mean we have to take it down. Its just like halloween and the rest of the holidays. If you want to connect it to something else, go right ahead.. if not, enjoy the spirit as everyone does.. :)

So instead of being all judgemental of Christmas.. lets just enjoy.. shall we?

If you don't like the rules, don't enter. It's a Christmas Contest, NOT a a halloween one. Not only that, it never states in the bible that jesus's birthday was on christmas. Therefore, reffering this contest to christians is just wrong.

I just thought if we had people of different religions make maps for them, we would have a lot more creativity going on. Just a recommendation.

That is the point of what I was trying to day. Instead of just covering x-max. Why not have people make maps for all religious events that take place on the holidays.

That's what its about. Christmas trees have nothing to do with religion. We just tried to bring out maps that people can try to make. Last year didn't go to well...

Alright. New deal. Anything involving the typical HOLIDAY feel. Sledding, Christmas, A snowy map. Anything involving winter and the "Nice Holiday Feel"


EDIT: Also Dee, sorry if I got a bit mean. I just thought you were trying to target what I said and make me look like the bad guy. It's all good now.

In this case, its stupid to have 2 contests, because they're almost identical to each other. Normally, it wouldn't be a problem having 2 contests but they have to be very different from each other, each with its own focus, even if they're both holiday/Christmas themed.

Dude. There was no reason to make two at all. We made one, ONE holiday contest. That's how it is every year. We got to it first, you should have backed off or joined. You say "Why Can't their be two". Well, ours have different guidelines, and now the people that we were going to have join ours, are now running over to yours. You should have just said "Fine, I won't make one. These guys made it first and I should respect that.". Instead you created your own which is just beyond retarded.
