When I try to import any txt file into Guerilla, I get the following error message:

expected field but got field short integer
couldn't import tag
Anyone know what is causing this error?

I also just opened coldsnap.scenario, exported the txt file, closed the scenario, and tried to import the just exported txt file and got the following message:

Couldn't read map file './guerillabeta.map'
expected field but got field short integer
couldn't import tag

Try it with tutorial.scenario...it will work, and will work with tutwithfighting.scenario if you only have one encounter. If there are two encounters, it will close during export process.

Me thinks there must be a bug with Guerilla...

For the last time...

You are correct about a .txt file not being a tag. However, in Guerilla the export function is used to convert a .scenario file into a .txt format. Import function is used to convert a properly formatted .txt file back into a .scenario file.

ur both wrong first u can but it doesnt work when u try to import scenarios in script form and second thats ment for other tags like no cheat tag (i dont have it dont ask) and kirbys random scripts.and theres no bug in guerilla or sapien (its just some people dont know how to use them)

you are wrong. the no cheat thing is a simple script to block some of the cheats.

im not talking about the one from kirbys random scripts pack and it sure as hell isnt a simple script

the no cheat script IS simple.

deathless_player 0
bottomless_clip 0
infinite_ammo 0

thats about the commands in the scripts..

There's a little bit more, but its simple. What it does, is if you type them in, in Singleplayer, you die, and the cheats are turned off. In multiplayer, it talks to you, but you can set what it says >:)

Geez, you don't need to say it like we're all idiots, we get the point.

Mysterion: Why would you even wish you import/export? The only reason I ever exported was for the old Gbxmodel Importer.

It was suggested by someone that I try this technique to modify an existing scenario file by exporting it, editing the text, and then importing it back into scenario file. It only seems to work for minor changes, but not for big additions or modifications to a file. I have since had success without having to resort to this route. Its a mute point, but I learned quite a bit through trial and error (mostly error).
