I've just been wondering.....

Does anyone want to help me in my deathisland-solo map? This is the first SP map I've attempted to do. So we can do a 'joint project' work on it. I'm not familiar with scripting, and I find all the stuff about trigger volumes and scripts a bit confusing.

EDIT on10/11/08: I've added vehicles like Banshees to the map, and also a really awesome Flood-vs Covie battle. Pics should come soon.

BtW, who those who pan to create SP levels in a futuure, here's a tip:
Flood, even when unarmed, totally Pwn a couple of Covenant troops.

3 Elites and 5 Grunts+ ten or so unarmed flood combat forms=All Covenant dead, no flood dead.

you should put some elites with energy swords. they are alot better at holding off floods

By the way, DarkZealot, I need help with that pause menu thing. (You'll find out about it once you play the map)

Also, be sure to kill all the threats in an area before moving on to the next while playing the level. There was some...error in scritpting.

After emerging from the Jackal-infested tunnel with the Shade turret, turn left (at that weird-circular area with the cargo containers). A Balck elite squad should be there. If they're not there, you did something wrong.

And you should use cheat_deathless_player. I ahven't added in Health Packs and stuff yet.

By the way, you still haven't answwered my question: how do I send you files?

map basic outline:
Player emerges from Flood-infested structure, and fights off Covenant with air support and Flood outside. The player gets a ghost,, neutralizes several Elite Hunt-and-Kill teams on the beach that are fighting flood, and goes into a cave.

In the cave, the Player will meet ambshes of Jackals (which are surprisingly effective) and a shade turret.

Upon emerging, the player faces a SpecOps unit led by a white Elite.

Turning right will bring the player to the last stage of the level, which is killing the Elite commander. He is aided by Black Elites and Hunters. There are Flood in that area to distract the defenses.
