the sky tutorial explained everything except how to create clouds...

I need it kind of like in d40, where they cover the sky, yet you can still see through it.

Why don't you make a scenery of a Cloud and put it up in the sky. make several, and scatter them around. as for staying there and being translucent, i don't know...

I think I figured it out.

In d40 sky, they made a plane, and stretched it out over in between the ring, and raised the verts up, so that it is like a bubble over the playing area.

I'll do that. I think the translucency comes from the planes showing through each other on the sky.
