Sorry about this third topic on this subject, but is my last.

As you well DONT know, most of the Matrix Mapping Team does not want to join, in some ways, and my opinion, "they wont know what they are missing".

I am almost to the point of getting the green light to making Halo: Ghosts of Onyx game, so wish us luck.

The reason I have decided to leave, is because, in my opinion, and others, "Halo Maps Forum has gone to the heap, with everyone being negative, the place isn't as fun anymore, everyone either makes fun of you, or states every error, just because they feel like it."

In NO way is this being held against you Dennis, you have actually been of some help, thank you. Everyone who HAS been mean, knows who they are; I wont list names, because I am not trying to be offending.

If you are still interested in helping us, Helipad Studios Game Development Team, we need modelers,a programmer (Pascel, C++), a animator, and a character modeler.



Back to subject;

I just wanted to state my farewell, and hope everyone the best on this site, and goodluck on you and your site Dennis.

And yeah people preach dennis has finally posted his feelings toward this site :D but nothing will happen unless this forum closes down for a while, then people will realize what they are doing and why they should CLEAN UP THEIR ACT.

Also on a positive note, I'm sad this team didn't work out it was a nice attempt though. I think part of the reason it ended bad was because of the JACK*SS's like arbiter000 that only posted JUNK AND SPAM NEGATIVE posts. I wish you guys luck though.

well, the issue with this site, is that the vast majority of the people who come here not only are seeking help with halo specifically, but have no experience in any modeling program or photoshop, and expect us to teach them non halo related things.
edit: then these inexperienced members have a vision and start a team to bring that vision to life. they hire all of the people like them, inexperienced, and new. maybe they know a bit of modeling. then they post what is admittedly crap work and expect nothing but praise. when they dont get praise, but rather an unnecessarily cruel load of bullocks. this in turn pisses off the newbie (note: newb, not noob) who is usually a child.

Well for:
1. Most teams get started without knowing anything about anything, hoping to get members that know stuff so they can try to seem like an actual team.
2. I give actual critism to people, I say the truth and don't hold back. If your model isn't good I will post about it and say how to make it better.
3. You have no idea what you are saying onotix, because you haven't been here long enough to know the facts.
4. This team, Helipad Studios, was started on the idea of creating a new game, and yet they come to this site and talk about it. They should've seen how it was turning out in the begining.

That's where you are wrong, I had a team of myself. We were called HmC, the Halo Map Customizers. I had the balls to go out and create a team, and mine actually prospered. We had really good members, but when it died a few months or whatever ago, it was because of everyone wanting to go seperate ways. That team I had was a begining. Now I am in Sigma, Halorider is in one team, Thunderbolt doesn't come on a lot so idk, Illegealcheatsman moved to Garrys mod, Hayabusa went to another team, Higuy is on his own, Csfloyd is wherever he is, and all of the other members are doing better then they did before they were in my team.

Seriously kidd, learn the facts before trying to go after me for something you know nothing about.

Well at least I can say what I feel is right to say, even if it isn't spoon fed with sugar and candy to you.

That is merely your point of view, based on your experiences.
I have never personally experienced any of these actual 'hardships', with that said, perhaps the people who have suffered these 'injustices' aren't doing it right...? The closest I ever got to, was slight disagreements with some people which of course is to be expected in almost any forums.

For once, don't look at the members of the forums but look at yourselves and what you say, as well as what you do. I doubt my 'luck' concerning this issue of injustices was random; think about that and act accordingly? =/

OI by the way, i like it here more than the other halo forums.
i dont mind the arguing, quite entertaining in fact, but it gets over board.
i actually enjoyed the days you werent really in the forums, but hey! cant stop you from
not joining so...... and this thread was actually going to 'Continue" it wasn't going to end all of the sudden.

oh and i dont feel like getting "out" of these forums... Phooey.

It's us, the senior members here who have to clean up our acts. Dennis has done already enough for us. We need to take advantage of what he gave us because he definatly isn't doing this for himself. This is for us, like a gift, so lets clean off and set an example of how to act. First lets stop pointing fingers because that won't do anything.

I've been cleaning mine up until today, I just coulnd't take the fact that this was still happening but yes I agree with you Duce.

This problem could be easily fixed with people actully being nice. Kinda agreeing with kid... then going to hazard...So I guess im stuck in the middle eh. But we all can be a *** sometimes.

NO that is not the issue with the site, It is what the site was setup to be: a place for the vast majority of people to come here to learn how to model and make maps.

What you guys have been trying to turn it into is an elite club for snippy teenage map makers who what to show how much better they are than the people who want to learn. Your admitance here is to either learn or teach not act like a bully and cut down everyone not in the club.

I for one am sick of it! Clean up your act people or I'll clean it up by throwing out the trash.
