I was just browsing the tutorials section and happened to stumble upon this:
http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4047Out of curiosity, I downloaded it, wondering who this "TheFooler" guy was and how good his tutorial on AI following was.
Not even two seconds into reading it, I realized it was literally a copy-paste of part of a post I made on this forum on September 1 that explained how to make AI follow you:
http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=20779Except, even more curiously, it has more commands listed in the end than that post had... and then I remembered that I made a pinned topic on the TCEM forums that had the exact same content as this tutorial, including the extra commands:
http://z10.invisionfree.com/tcem/index.php?showtopic=44Now, the only problem with the link above is that only registered members of the forum can see that topic, let alone the entire Halo Custom Edition Support section of the forums. So I can safely narrow this down to somebody registered at the TCEM forums.
If you have any courage at all, I would like you to reveal yourself now and explain yourself. If not, tough luck, the facts are revealed.
I honestly am not mad, I just want proper credit given is all. I actually agree that there should be a tutorial on how to do that on this website, but if you're going to copy-paste my words and give yourself credit you must have some bad intentions. Period.
So this is basically proof that the only thing this "TheFooler" guy gets credit for is knowing how to type and use Adobe Reader to plagiarize my words into a .pdf file.
I posted this in the Halo Maps forums instead of at TCEM because the members spend more time here overall than there.
Dennis, if you have time, could you change the author of this tutorial to give proper credit? I think we all know that "TheFooler" deserves no credit except for uploading it to the site.
I know it sounds a bit selfish that I make a whole new topic just about this, but I want to make sure whoever did this sees the topic and knows that they didn't get away with it.
