Hello. I finished my first map and I was able to sucessfully host it and play in it on multiple gametypes. I send my map to a friend via Xfire file transfer so he could play it as well. He claimed that right after placing my map in his maps folder and starting Halo Custom Edition, the game crashed with a "Gathering Exception" error. He soon told me that upon removing my map, the game could load and play normally again. I realize that HaloMaps requires that maps have to load up properly for them to be posted, but I don't know why it seems that my map was causing his game to crash, considering that it worked fine for me. Any tips regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I used Yayap's tutorial to make my map. Edited by ESG SLAYER on Sep 29, 2008 at 11:41 AM

it might be his computer, some computers get more exception errors than others.

I think you're right about that. I shared my map with another friend of mine and he was able to play it. Besides, I saw my map up for download so I figure that it works fine after all.
