What are degenerate triangles? Are they those messed up black spots? How do I fiund them?
How do I fix them ?

ok so are u using 3ds max. if u are then import the .wrl that should of ben created arfter doing tool.ul find it in c:\program files\ microsoft games\ halo custom edition

should be there. anyway degen friangles dont usually effect me when im creating the collision. only sometimes when i get an exception halt i fix em cus sometimes it fixes the exception halo which regually mean your model is screwwed

Degenerates ultimately mean nothing in the performance of your weapon in game. It can, however, determine on how good it looks.

Oh, in the case of BSPs it matters a lot. I'm sure someone will come in here and explain it.....but for weapons and items, Degenerate Triangles are virtually pointless to bring up.
