This is a map I really like, and I was wondering if a few people wanted to make a server and play with me on it.

Yes, it is one of those huge maps with heavy vehicles, but I highly enjoy these maps, especially obsolete and downflow. So if anyone wants to play, add me on xfire (egghunter)

K the first one Is just a flat plane with a scarab on it. Nice map choice.

Just the kinds of maps I like.

My favourites vary. Sometimes, I want to play a huge map with huge vehicles. Other times, I'd rather play a close quarters map.

You do know that your statement does not specifically exclude you in the assertion. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Big maps can provide some fun from time to time but considering Obsolete was made by Kid, it's best to be avoided. He's really the kind of douche you wanna avoid and his maps, by the same occasion, should be ostracized.

You're the douche for not playing a map just because some people in the community don't like the author. Why should that stop you from playign it. If you didn't want to play it then dont and you don't have to convince other people not to play it too.

kiwi was, in my opinion, the biggest pain in the ass iv ever seen on these forums. like, bigger than kid or dsalimander. if you want to be the next "prick of halomaps" then keep doing the 3rd person thing.

oh i know. at least they contributed to the game. all kiwi did was say stupid off topic crap that people band wagoned. i can remember this one thread where this guy was making a map (i know, HUGE surprise) and kiwi says, "i like apple pie," then everyone started talking about pie. it was ridiculous

I know this is a little off topic but whatever happened to Kiwi did he just vanish?

He left because he got sick of the community.
On april fools day, he left with one post: "*leaves for good*"

He came back on as someone with a name like "tankred" or something, but did not speak in third person, he then told us he was making an observation, told us why he left the forums, and then said that he came back to see if the community would have gotten better, etc. but nope, so he left for good, "for real" but I don't know.

BTW: I do like downflow...

Most of the time I still wonder why you people hate some maps just because the gameplay is different...
...btw, last night, I saw selentic express a little of this. He came into the POQ coldsnap server, chatted a bit, then when there were a bunch of people in red base and an available longsword, he nuked red base and got autobanned, but he did it just right so that no one could spawn in red base until the longsword disappeared. POQ guys there were pissed...

...well I found it funny... then again, Selentic's name wasn't in those funny characters like I remember.

I vote for playing on Good maps that are arena styled and are interesting in design, like Chiller or Seclusion.

If you don't tone it down, you'll probably get your posting privileges revoked as well.
