I tricked you because it was necesarry, but hear me out.
i had posted two previous threads about this and nbody seems to help. so here is my problem:
I am having trouble with the update. the auto update will not work on my computer, claiming I am not an administraitor on my PC. i am one of only 2. I tried to download and install the patch manually, but it claims i don't even have halo on my PC... obviously i do though.
anything i can do? I NEED to get it to work. I cannot play Halo if it won't.

Boo.
Try right clicking said manual update and Run As.
Also, if Halo isn't installed but you can still play it, you have the same problem I had with HEK, which means you have to reinstall.
