I typed in tool structure levels\ice_canyon ice_canyon, and I got this error:

building intermediate geometry...
building collision geometry...
### ERROR edge #67 is open <red>.
### ERROR edge #132 is open <red>.
### ERROR edge #174 is open <red>.
### ERROR failed to build collision geometry.
### ERROR failed to import collision BSP.

So, do I have to go back and edit it in 3ds max? And how would I find these edges?

Yes you have to go back in 3ds max. Here's what you do:

Open the 3ds max file

Import the .wrl file of the map (located in halo ce's root directory)

First thing you should do once imported is go into vertex mode, select all the vertexes, and weld with a threshold at 0.001.

Then where the open edges are, delete the faces around it and create new faces.

Then export and see what happens, if it still happens then keep trying till you fix it.

Edit:

Ok, i opened the max file.

i then imported the .wrl file.

I see a white triangle, how would i go into vertex mode? In editable mesh, right?

My question is how did you manage to get errors by just making a box?

Convert to editable poly and do it.

You are suppose to uncheck everything in the box that pops up when you import the wrl.

Oh...well I'll try again. I made another map, and it is working.
