ok hi. im the maker/modder of all the insane/intense maps (ex. mudslide insane)
i was thinking of starting a new type of gameplay. RALLY. rally is any map of my choice, and has the race checkpoints changed around. i have already made 3 different rally cars. (offroad truck, rally car, dune buggy) i was thinking about using these vehicles in my new rally variant. it would have scenery jump tags and ramps and stuff to make it fun but i was just wondering if everyone thought that was a good idea. (btw the map would have to b played on "race" if its made)
i want constructive comments and opinions.

It is a good idea. How about the maps have little shortcuts like in all the racing games, and there are holes you have to jump over, that would be cool!!!

i don't know...
sure, i enjoy fishtailing and swerveing around blood gulch with rockets in hand and on ass as much as the next guy, but i don't know if this is a good idea.
personally, i think the best game in the original halo is some good old CTF, but thats just me. I am working on a new (and my first) map that is heavily based around capture the flag. sure, you can play any game there but it is primarily designed for CTF.
i think there are issues in scripting though that require maps to work with all game types.
i don't know. racing is okay, i won't stop you, but you might want to mix it up so that all gametypes are playable. like a flag hidden under a jump : P
