I am getting real pissed off at kornman because it hates me. I've looked thru files and rgistry keys looking for someway to change this without luck. Ok heres the problem. When i open kornman v2 or the v1, i get this error when i goto load a tag:

Couldn't read map file './kornman00beta.map'
you need to set your working directory.

I'm not a noob so i no what this means, it means im not opening a tag in the tags folder it thinks im getting it from some where else. I use to know where that other place is but i kinda screwed that up on accident, but it was thinking my tags folder was this: c:\documents and settings\<my name>\tags

Now i have no idea where its directed and i cant seem to change it, and i really would like to use kornman, also, because i prefer typing command paths i instaled halo ce to "c:\program files\microsoft games\halo ce" i did this cause its faster to tyoe ce than custom edition.Anyway any help would b much appreciated, and sry if u cant read some of this, but i've gotten into the habit of im text.

You have to open the tag in the Tag folder in your halo ce root directory. You cant open a tag that's not in the Root directory :MysterySolved:

its in my root directory

root directory, as in
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\tags"
or
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo CE\tags"

Renaming your CE folder like that may be more trouble than it's worth

yea i've noticed b4 cause things like tool++ and hek+ wouldnt wrk rite,but i thin kornman is beyond that now because ive tried renaming the folder to halo custom edition and it still wouldnt work.... On the bright side I remembered that i could just extract the original tag outta the hek installer and replcae the modified 1 that i made, but still if anyone knows how to fix this plz help!

Don't no how i did it, but i have miracuasly fixed kornman. I have no idea how this effected it i just clikd it and said wth and it wrkd. Basicly i found a post on the forums about the people that had problems using kornman because of a adobe file, and most people told them to uninstall it, but i found 1 that has the contents of a batch file, that renames file so it wrks, and this is weird but when i use it it says file not found or both files in the program, yet wen i run it thru that my kornman wrks fine, and when i dont run it thru that it wont wrk. Who knew?.....
