This method I have been using is so simple and is almost as easy as tessalting a square but has results ten times better. I recorded myself doing the method.

That is the video and I plan on showing you how to do a few more techniques to get your model looking nice in the next parts. When done I will throw it into a nice set and upload it to the site depending on how useful it is.

Yeah... I had no idea what tools you were using, so it doesn't really help me.

All i did was inserted vertexs then moved them around to make the basic shape as in outline. Then i used the cut tool to amke the individual triangles. Then I moved the verts around to amke each triangle more equalateral. Then i just played with the elevation of the vertexs and thats it.
