Well I just recently started modding with HEK, but today I when went on my computer to open up my latest mod, Sapien crashed. Here's what happened. I opened Sapien.exe and navigated to the scenario file I've been working on. I clicked the scenario file and clicked 'open'. It opened for a second, then closed out. I don't know what's wrong and I've been searching everywhere for answers and nothing has helped. Here's what my debug.txt file says:

Quote:
07.29.08 19:10:53 sapien pc 01.00.00.0609 ----------------------------------------------
07.29.08 19:10:53 reference function: _write_to_error_file
07.29.08 19:10:53 reference address: 401b13
07.29.08 19:10:53 Couldn't read map file './sapienbeta.map'

I tried opening up other scenarios and the same thing happened. I even deleted my whole tags folder and re-extracted bloodgulch and tried opening it, just to see what would happen. Again, Sapien just crashed.

If someone can help me fix this I'll be very happy.

No, it's not a dual core. I noticed that a lot of other people's Sapien errors are because of that, but that brings up a different error. This error message doesn't tell me anything, so I don't know what's wrong.

Edit: Nevermind, the guys at modacity helped me out.
