yes I know im probably going to get flamed and or get this locked.... but I was just stating that I reacently herd that some teams are using the "q" button for some things.... thats my action button.... screw "e" I use "q" .... now I don't know what "q" origionally did, if anything but if it's gonna be some kind of script that forces it to do whatever function then i'm gonnna be ticked....

Yes I know some of you will says something like "well don't get the maps!" hmm maybe it's something I wana play... but i'm not willing to change controlls... use some other button like ctrl.... make everyone else mad.... seriously why use ctrl for crouch... I use shift... easier to reach.


All i'm trying to say is, please use some consideration for someone elses controls... ok?

Did you even read the part "I don't remember what "q" was origionally" ..... you didn't.

About sending the pm.... uh... yeah.... like i'm gona find several members of every team and pm them...


oh and don't call me an idiot...... i'm pretty shure i've been here longer than you (not to bring this into the discussion but i'm tired of people calling me an idiot when they don't know or remember who I am....) and I know a little bit more than you on what i'm talking about.... no I haven't played ce in a while.... no I don't remember that 1 was the flashlight. now it seems you have been following the threads about the teams... good for you. I don't have the time. I just hear something about the q button being used for something and I wanted to make a big announcement.

While i'm here i'd like to complain about the apps that use the numbers above the qwe keys on the key board 1,2,3 is my talk buttons. Now yes I know you wouldnt't have known that but I don't like trying to talk and something like 3rd pov turns on and off.

Guess i'd better stop complaining though or i'll be put on probation.

It would be very confusing to me if someone said that they could map a function to the Q button and i didn't know how the engine worked. I would think its kind of ridiculous to force that button to have to be used for a specific function. Its just a small misunderstanding, no need to blow it out of proportion and start throwing out insults.

This is probably my last message in this thread cause after this one this thread may turn to spam...


anyway I don't care about the flashlight key... shure do whatever with it... but I thought it was some unused key on the default.... thus meaning i'd be forced to use something different.

Why selentic have you become a jerk to someone who complains... this is not your forum and life or the internew is not all about you... get over it... it's life people complain and whine.

EDIT: I just knew I wouldn't be able to make an announcement of sorts and have people on this forum act civil.
