Can someone help me figure out how to get lights working in Sapien? I'm trying to light a hallways and I used illum shaders for lights but that didn't help. So I went to use the lights in sapien and they aren't letting off any light.

Well lighting can be tricky but remember you have to light the map with the tool before it shows up. you can't just add lights in sapien unless they are pre-made lights. and it's not a true light source. just an alpha light. If you are going to create a light shader it's easiest to just edit the forunner_flourescent.shader and go from there. Other than that i can be of no help. i never had a problem lighting.

Blaz, any chance you could give me a quick run through on how to light (not using +sky)? And how do I create a light in tool? Can I export lights from 3DS Max?

I'm working on a map;

and in it I have a hallway off to the side, it is completely dark and I really want to light it but I really am not understanding how to do that.
