Caution! Map Under Construction!!For those uninitiated I'm in the process of working on a new map for H2V. It will be my first map I will release and would like to get some feedback from the community. The working title for the map is 'Liberty', which I felt fit since it's been inspired by the beautiful city of Killadelphia, er Philadelphia! The action centers around the various bridges (choke-points) which in order to take you will need to rely on Team Work. The design of the map is targeted for games of CTF and Assault but should also be good for Team Slayer, and Oddball. Please leave any feedback or critiques here. Hope you all enjoy, YakZSmelk

Yeah, YakZ, you would get a lot more downloads if this was for CE, and if you need Halo 2 textures I have them.

I hear all three of you, but as of right now I'm without a disc for Halo CE (broke it), and until I get around to buying a new one or can find a working .ISO I'm stuck with H2V. I would really like to get around to remaking some Goldeneye maps 'for' Halo though so they might pop up on HCE.
Hopefully those that do have H2V will check out my stuff til than and thanks for looking guys!!

I don't have it installed, that's one of the problems. I have two CD keys (lost one game, broke the other) I need an .ISO I can reinstall with.

Just wanted to show off my trees I'm working on, they look a little bare at the moment, but it's a WIP I highly enjoy them! haha Also I've added a side hall, that is serving as a water pump room, and an alternative route for players to cross the road with some cover. If your interested i have many tree models. Won't have to give me any credit or anything, they are looking alright but you don't want to have the same tree over and over. If your interested just PM me.
Oh and any model from H1 or H2 i can get for you too.

Come on guys. This still looks very beta to me meaning that textures and uvw'ing is just for presentation of the BSP. Not final. The overall look of the BSP is looking very nice. And yes it does need work in the texturing area but i'm sure your very aware of this.

No. It is quite all right, the reason it is up here is to get feedback. Anyway DarkHalo that multi-color texture is what appears when they're is no shader applied, I'm shooting for a dark-blue reflective. I'm trying to create the affect of the windows from Terminal.

And that's why i said it looks very beta to me. Shaders are not all even set yet. To me it was just like telling someone their hair looks bad right after they wake up. duhhh. Oh well.
If you want terminal type windows i can help you there if i get time. probably not but who knows. I can at least get the original bitmaps and maybe mess around with a shader if i get bored.
And i have not had time to mess with that sky yet but i'll let you know.
I did get a decent glass with cubemap incorperated but the vid looks like crap so i'll post later. I'll check out the sky tonight. Edited by johnnyblaz20 on Jun 27, 2008 at 12:30 PM

Edited by johnnyblaz20 on Jun 27, 2008 at 12:30 PM But then again it is better to tell them their problems with their hair (map) before they go out with it (release it). Anyway enough of the proverbs; I also think you should get rid of the multicolour windows. In my opinion, a light blue would look better for windows. Also, the roads need a better texture. They look like a blurred texture for a metal cage or something. Other than that, I don't see any problems. Taking another pic from a better view so we can see more of the map.
