Is this program good for Halo CE mapping? Or do I have to use 3ds Max or Gmax? It's free, and it can render, texture, and model really well.

Dont listen to what he just said. Blender is a failure and disgrace to 3d modelling programs, youre better off using Gmax. And completely free. I would recommend using Gmax or 3ds Max, but if you already know how to use Blender than try making maps with it. If you need help with anything I'll be happy to help you. I wish I could get gmax to work on vista..... and learn how to use it... I may try blender.... for giggles

The only reason why I like blender is because it is open-source. Everything else about it is igh.

If your going to take the time to learn a 3d modeling program, learn gmax/3ds max. It will be a much better choice.

Tried it once and I hated it, its more for other stuff than ce. Just use 3ds max or gmax, but the best in my opionion is 3ds max at the moment.
