i ripped the scarab from extinction and i was wondering if it would be possible to add ai to the scarab so that it is an enemy in a sp map?, as in make a red elite enter the scarab and drive it, also, is it possible to do this with other vehicles and if so, could i someone make one for me? idk how to get ai to spawn and enter vehicles in the air, as well as entering vehicles, all the ones i have seen dont help out very much thx

did that and the ones i find dont show you adding ai in vehicles in mid air or on top of vehicles or other objects, mine just fall if i try

im making a scarab war map and to make a elite drive the scarab is to:
1.extract spartan.model animations from extinction
2.get elite mp tags
3.make a new actor varient or modify one to make it have elite mp biped(make a backup biped and use the backup)
4.change the model animations to the spartan one from extinction.

and if that doesnt help no idea what would happen
and if it doesnt work change the biped to a cyborg mp but with spartan model animations

then you have to make the ai drive the scarab with vehicle command.

sorry if i dont make sense

I wouldn't mess with the cyborg.model_animations to be honest, only if you're messing with a player may I recommend it. My advice, is to open the scarab vehicle (or a copy if you want to keep the original) and edit the seat labels, so that they match existing elite animations. As for making the AI start in midair, make the start point, and move it up. If it doesn't work, then just use the script command and pray.

Using scripting would force any AI Squad or a Biped to get in, as long as the seats match. And the seat for the Scarab is FB-Stand.

In which case, if you'd want an elite in there driving it, you should change it to a ghost or banshee, unless you'll actually be able to board it. If nobody will be getting in the scarab, who cares what the driver looks like...

Ten seconds after she puts the "keys" in the ignition, the scarab will promptly fall off a cliff, hit a wall and explode, or just keel over and die.

I got Scarab AI... but I'm not releasing them.

They can drive pretty well and know when to use the main and the secondary gun.
