hey how do i add actor_varients into the sp maps???i want more actor varients in my map.

and how do i add AI into my multiplayer maps????

Click "Halo CE Maps". (Near the top of your screen......)

In the search bar (do try to use this wonderful tool on this site first), type "adding ai" and you will find all sorts of helpful tutorials. Almost any will work.

i was just putting in ai in a map.but how do u make the ai attack each other??????like say the red elites attack the blue elites but protect the red team MC.and the blue is same,attacking opposite colour????

In the tutorial, it tells you to assign different team indexes. In the encounter section, assign a team index of 0 to align the AI with the player (or "red team") and a team index of "1" to assign AI to the blue team. A team index of 2 or higher results in unallied AI except with other AI of their team index.

Also, I've noticed that in Sapien occasionally AI of the same type don't like to fight each other despite being different team indexes (for example, spartans versus spartans, or your example of elites versus elites), while in-game they work just fine.

So make sure they are different team indexes, and then compile the map. Try it out in-game and you should find that they fight each other just fine.

ok thanks i will try.but do u know how to change the weapon of the actor varient?well i already know but when i change the elite's energy sword to an energy sword that all of us,real people, can use,it turns out to be a plasma rifle when i do that to the elites.

ok ill keep on trying.if it doesnt owrk,ill just change the weapons theyre using

yea but now i need more help! even though its not the rite topic,can any1 help me on this?

like i said i got my computer reinstalled and then i redownloaded halo CE and Hek and everything but then when i wanted to remake my map in sapien, i open sapien and then i opened a scenario but then it automatically closes,and same goes with ahobo!!!
before when my computer wasn't reinstalled, it worked perfectly.

theres no error in the debug file and i dont get whats wrong! so can any1 help me??? and ill show u what it says in the debug file.
