I downloaded a model off of turbo squid and it is in "efw" format instead of 3ds like it said it would be. Is it supposed to be like this?

Thats a weird error that i used to get a lot on my old computer. it mainly happened when i would download stuff from filefront. simply click save to computer or whatever and rename it to the filename its supposed to be. so delete all the junk thats there and make it like model.3ds for example.

download it again but this time select the 1 and everything after it and delete it. then type 3ds and it should change the file type to .3ds and it should work.
