Are you using gmax to make the map? If so I can help. If your sky turned gray when you added color to it, you must have made some kind of typo when you typed in +sky. even if you backspace it, its still colorless. Try undoing then redoing the mtl edit.

i just realized my sky is there i just used a mentally retarded one that u cant see anything in, as for the shaders, in the tut he didnt set up a shader and he still has his textures.

You don't need to add grenades. Just set up some weapons for gametypes, and pick grenades/no grenades, and if plasma or frag. Thats in Starting Equipment, in the scenario tag

though if you REALY wanted to add more grenades you can go to your globals then go to grenades and set the mp starting ammount... then compile your map.... though making a gametype is better.
