When compiling custom fp arms I get this error, they were exported with bluestreak beacause they are rigged

thats from "tool model"?
If it's from an imported mesh and skin, the verts might be broken. that might be the problem, having coexisting verts. I'm just guessing though

the verts gotta get welded, which I'm pretty sure means losing the rig.
But you can copy the weights of the broken mesh to the fixed one with Skin Utilities
in the Utilities panel, click "More...", and use "Import Data From Mesh"

I havn't actually done this, so you'll have to read the 3ds documentation about it
