finally, it took me about half a year, but my map is finished.(its only a mod of tutorial cos thats the one i worked on for some time).its just tutorial with added weapons (that i ripped unfortunately but its a hell lot easier than fixing them all in guerilla) and it has two civihogs and two civighosts.
Just One Thing In My Way Though, How Do I Make It A Map File?Help Would Be Nice,
Thanks,

Take your Command Prompt from C:\WINDOWS\system32 and copy it to your Halo Custom Edition Folder. Make sure you got the application not the shortcut. So dont use there Tool Beta thingy use the Command Prompt

ok you can ether download a tutorial or sit here and read all this:

First you have to coppy and paste cmd (command prompt) into your halo ce root directory.
then use that cmd to do the command for example tool build-cache-file levels\test\tutorial\tutorial

Then let tool work its magic... when (if you are building the file) gets done the map file should be in the maps folder waiting for you to play him (or her if your maps a girl)

the "Couldn't Read Map File '.\toolbeta.map" always happens so dont worry, as for the rest it usualy means you type the command wrong. tool build-cache-file levels\mapname\mapname

replace mapname with the name of your map

how did you get the map into sapien in the first place without tool being set up?

also you need to type tool build-cache-file and then the file path. such as tool build-cache-file levels\ blah blah blah...

You can't have spaces in the map name, unless you put "s at the beggining and the end of the derectory. Try this: tool build-cache-file "levels\test\Tutorial Mod Alpha\Tutorial Mod Alpha"

Did you edit your globals to make th vehicles spawn? try this: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2912
For weapons did you put them under the weapons catagory or the netgame equipment? Make a item collection tag and add your weapon to it. Save it in tags\item collections\single weapons or something then, in sapien, go to hiarcy view, Game Data, then netgame equipment. On propertys view, change type 0 to all games, then find your item collection. Place that and it will spawn in-game

If everything works out and the map is normal then it's probably alright and probably means you didnt use one of HEK's many fetures in your level.
