hex edit bitmaps.map so tool doesnt attach the bitmap to bitmaps.map and instead compiles it in from your tags. (the way you do that is just rename the bitmap tag within it with a hex editor, look below for his location to search up within bitmaps.map)

the bitmap you then replace is tags\ui\shell\bitmaps\background.bitmap


Also, if anyone is wondering why ive been missing, im horible sick (aperntly my throat is infected, and I should still be MIA for about another week.. cya then..)

is this how you change the background on the post game carnage screen too?

you can, but its easier to modify the hud globals. Open your globals, head down by the vehicles, above there is hte hud globals slot (I have multiple globals for all my differnt themed maps, so I also have multiple hud globals; using a duplicate hud_globals is good if your doing multiple differnt themed maps with multiple globals like me) open it, go down, and there is a link to the post game carnage report bitmap.
