Is it possible in any way to get a pelican in Halo 2 Multiplayer? Can you create a map then put one in?

As soon as guerilla radio comes out, and last time I checked, it isn't.

guerilla radio is something kornman was working on witch can convert models backwards yo max, rip tags, ect.

maybe someone could model a pelican and put it ingame.

commanderfravel is ****ing lying.
In H2V, you need to do more than just that. You have to swap the animations too..
D.I.Y (I think i wrote a a step by step process some time for the same thing..)
0.Backup 3a_oldmombassa
1. Download Mr mohawk http://modtools.nemasket.com/mrmohawk.html
2.Start it.
3.Open metropolis (3a_oldmombassa)
4.Scroll down to vehicle.
5. Select pelican.
6. On the left hand side, you see the meta box thingy there? Copy the meta code there.
7. Scroll up to .proj
8. Open grenade.
9. Overwrite the meta thingy with the one you copied.
10.Scroll to bipd.
11. Open mirana.
12. copy meta
13. Paste meta code
14. Done.
Note: You may use something other than a grenade for that. Also, swapping masterchief with miranda will make you unkillable and be a nice lil' girl.
Now, in outskirts throw a nade, a pelican will come out. Then, after flipping it for quite a while, get inside and fly!

Or you could get a mod from here. But thats just plain lazy.

Mr mohawk didnt work, I think I modded it correctly but every time I load outskirts the game crashes do I have to press save under the meta box? Also do I have to swap anything. If so how do I do that?

You havve to press save.
Only swap the things i told you to swap in the instructions.
If it crashes in the game, you did something wrong that crashed it and hopefully you backed up your map :P

I backed up the map. Was I supposed to press the swap button or just copy the meta. or both. Was the meta the thing under the word meta that said offset.

Yeah, meta offset. Copy the meta from pelican and paste it over proj of nade and do the rest i told you.
Also, if you manage to get it ingame, try not to get frustrated when you just can't flip the pelican right. You'll know what i mean :)
So yeah, after that, all should work fine. Theoretically.

Thanks. The pelican works great. I found an easy way 2 get in. One last question. How would I pilot a phantom? I managed to get it ingame but I dont know how to fly it.

Phantom? Never tried before... Try switching your masterchief with an elite's one.
That being said of cause, there are some flaws- You will then be covenant, making your allies kill you :(

I downloaded gravemind but its in .rar format. I dont know how to use it. Could you please teach me? Ive heard some programs can switch seat names or user types so that they could use things like the pelican and gravity throne. Can Mr. Mohawk do this?

P.S. Easy way: Wait for the pelican to spop moving; it should be vertical. Find out which way it flips. try to predict where the cockpit will be. Flip it while you are standing where the cockpit will be. When its approx. level, hold e. I hope it works.

Mr. Mohawk can't do that.

Do you know any programs that can do that? Also, I already have RarZilla.

Switch the seat type for animation like w gunner?
Thats for halo ce's better yet older(?advertising?) HEK
Since in Halo 2's HEK you can only compile multiplayer levels, so you can't do that to the campaign map.
So, I know not of owai- i'll try gravemind.

EDIT: What do you mean so they could use gravity throne and pelicans?
You can use the gravity throne simply by swapping it with a say... grenade.
no need to change bipeds since there is already an animation for it.

You can also do this with the scarab gun and maybe get the achievement but i havent tried it. Also if your on vista and get an error you need to copy the map from program files and put it somewhere else where you can access without UAC(User Account Control)
