I have been able to open my map into sapien, I DLed a base from this site but it had some tag errors in it, I fixed it and it works just fine. My problem is that almost all the tags I try to open have some kinda error in them and when ever I 'fix' one of them, when I try to open them up in sapien then sapien will close... is there an easyer way of doing this, I don't this is is normal for all these tags to have errors in them...

I'll wager $5 on bitmap tags missing. Anybody anti in on this? Are there any rules against gambling?

Now that I think about it...

Open the base tag's gbxmodel in guerilla and look for red. Look thrue all the sub tags
When you find red, note the path (minus 'bitmaps' or 'shaders'). Thats where the scenery and it's folders should be. Move the base's folder to where it's supposed to go

you guys can be mean =)

Yea just look though the tags for the base and fix red text. I hope your not totally missing a tag. Some of the files on here have been known to be uploaded with missing tags. It does not happen really with recent tags so much but older tags sometimes it does.

hmm... I have been fixing the red text and have got only one to work so far. I have been unsuccessful with all the character tags so far. I think I may know the problem, I set my HEK+ to put all the extracted tags in a folder called "extracted tags" this folder is located in the halo ce tags directory, do you think I should put all my extracted tags out of the the "extracted tags" folder and into the normal tags directory? could that be the cause?

yuppers. Tags to CE is like c:\ to your computer

Usually, if you extract tags to the correct directory, you have no problems. If you download a vehicle that happens to belong in scenery, and you decide to move it's folder to vehicles, it's a pain in the butt
