(hopefully this would be legal) Is there any program that makes halo ce skip the map corrupt check thing when it loads? I really want something that will decrease my loading time because my 10 minute loading time is such a pain.

You can download a map manager which will help if you got alot of maps. that way you can reduce how many maps it checks.
search on halomaps

Doesn't that remove maps from my folder? I want to make it load faster without removing unused maps, unless I can still play them in ce.

I want to make it load faster without removing unused maps, unless I can still play them in ce. the map manager i have doesn't remove maps from the folder. It just puts them on hold so halo ce loads without looking for those maps. However you have to restart halo ce if you put maps on hold and later decided to play them. It's very simple i got the one made by niZon. it may not be right for everyone but it works for good for most players.

The one I have, transfers all the maps I don't want, into a "unused" folder in the maps directory. But, yeah, more ram will also do it. I only have 1gb of ram, and it takes 10 minutes to load all the maps I have... but I'm going to eventually get a computer that has 4gb of ram, and a 1.5gb video card (yes, they exist)... Then no more lag or complaining about video quality. :]

I know that, I mean something where I can play all the maps, not only the commonly used ones. I got 512 meg's of ram, and I don't want to waste money on more ram.

That function is intergral to the on-line game. The program performs a checksum calculation of the maps in your folder so it can compare them to the ones running on the server you want to connect to. Without that function the online game would be useless. If you want to reduce load time remove maps from your \maps fiolder.
