The Albatross was featured in Halo 2 and Halo 3 and was always depicted in a crashed state. Relic of Halo 2 had one on the blue team's beach, and Sandtrap of Halo 3 had one near a base also.
Stupid looking craft IMO. |

But its the same concept. Primary = Chain gun, Secondary = Rockets. One person flying vehicle with the ablility to transport two players. It hovers and has verticle take off and landing. Sounds like the H3 Hornet to me. Sure it doesn't look like it because they need to make it look like they made it.

Kiwi thinks your streching it. The pelicans in the Halo books had Chain guns and rockets. The passenger carrying capacity is probably the closest thing that could be. Hovering and making it a VTOL seems more to ensure it isn't a banshee clone, and also it makes it more interesting.
