when i try to open it the black promt screen comes up but right away it goes away and even when i try to make a map it says cannot read toolbeta

you don't just click on tool to open it. its not a GUI you have to run it through a command prompt. search for CMD on your computer, then copy it into your halo CE root directory. ex. C:Program files/Microsoft Games/Halo Custom Edition.

look for CMD in C:\WINDOWS\system 32\cmd.
