I'm not sure if this should be in technical, but on my Halo CE, it doesn't show chat text. (little white, far left)
I'm not sure what's wrong with it, My graphix are top notch (Nvidia... Something, I'll get the name later) Is there any type of graphics patch I can get t help me see chat text? Some kind of DX update or something? |

Well I can start up a server on the net or on LAN, without minimizing, when I press the talk key, yes I've checked the controls, it shows the little grey box on the bottom butno text, and it doesn't say who I've killed ans stuff... because it's chat text...

My video card is pretty good. It shows cubemaps, Real time reflections, dynamic shadows, and High res details in 60 FPS almost flawlessly. There must be some kind of Nvidia setting...

well in most cases its just text lag happens when your in a server but since it happens in your lan servers than i can think of nothing other than reinstalling it

First go isntall msxmlenu.msi which is located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\redist
Then go to start and open run then type regsvr32 msxml4.dll |
