For those who don't know, Evolution is basically a Halo 2 Vista total conversion - more or less an entire new game running off Halo 2's Blam! 2 engine, taking full advantage of the available features to produce a unique experience quite unlike many other projects of the sort. There is some amazing talent within the team, both artistic and engineering-wise. Evolution is planned for release this year, with the multiplayer element releasing first and providing 14 weapons and 6 vehicles, all original, for players to raise hell with. The designs are both stunning to look at and unique, with the whole team pitching in ideas for each. Gameplay will be a blast, with each weapon specialising in a specific role - some melt opponents, some push them off of gaping precipices... players will need to adapt their tactics to suit the terrain if they hope to survive the chaos. The single-player experience, on the other hand, shall remain a mystery until you play it yourself - we're keeping it a closely guarded secret so as to avoid ruining Zeph's awesome plot. You'll definitely enjoy it though. Try not to get too excited about stuff that was proposed long before the H2 game was released. The H2 editing kit is still very restrictive and will not allow most of what they want to do.
