umm....like yes, and i saw absolutely nothing on uploading from desktop...
i dont think people on this forum understand that not EVERYBODY is as computer literate as others. I did read that upload page, and i searched for the word desktop, and no search results. I do not understand huge words, and the FTP and HTTP upload options- i have no idea how to use either of em...SO. That being said, id like to ask again.
CAN anybody tell how you upload files from the desktop? or even another like- personalized folder- I know you compress it into a RAR or ZIP folder, and then add a readme.txt, but uh- can you explain exactly what the two upload options mean?
Sorry for such a long post. :(

There are two upload options:
* FTP File transfer: This option uses a Java applet to enable you to transfer large files to our server. It will download a small Java Applet to run in your web browser. Be sure that you have the Java virtutal machine installed with your web browser and when asked you must approve the applet to run. This applet will use port 21 for FTP transfers
* HTTP File Transfer This option will allow you to upload files through your web browser and requires the Flash 8 plugin (or better) to operate. There is a file size limit of 32Mb and a maximum file limit of 42MB per transfer. If you wish to upload larger files please use the FTP option.
wow that makes absolutely no sense at all...

Please do not try to make excuses it does not reflect well when trying to impress the ladies. Try reading the information on the page and if you get stuck on some of the big words use a dictionary http://www.webster.com or ask someone. Hint: Uploading is another word for File Transfer.
