Theres a few thing id like to know, and here they are: -Let say i wanted to get the seraph from "Extinction" , i heard about this thing called hek+, and that it could rip out tags from places.... Can anyone give me some details on that and tell me where to get it? -I got some nice tags for some vehicles ... but when i open the tags folder, theres like 18 different folders inside that, and then when i go inside them, theres like 25 different things. Can someone tell me what to do with them so i can use them in a map? (lets use the Heavy scorpion for example) -When i open sapien, i have to choose a scenario tag to open right? But when that open dialog box appears, theres no scenario tags in any folder, even the tutorial map that comes with it. ^^Answered, thnx^^ And lastly, does anyone here know how to make a custom vehicle? (a turret) I checked out the ghosts tutorials.. but its not the same kind of turret i need. (check out my other post "My turret idea, check it out!") Any kind of help is appreciated. To the 1st problem: Hek+ is in the Halo Maps Section of this site. In search, type HEK+. Now find a title that says "HEK+" in it. Then download it. 3rd problem: Did you happen to delete any of the scenario files. If not, reintall the HEK. last one: Use Gmax or 3dsMax (which ever you have). If you use Gmax, you will need the project bluestreak JMS exporter. Get it here: http://ghost.halomaps.org/bluestreak/jms/

(if it costs money, then nvm) And thnx, il re-install the Hek. But, can u give me some info on how to USE hek+?

Quote: --- Original message by: NIGHTFIRE actualy, we DO use that 3ds max thats worth 3.5k, thanks too (cough cough) keygenz (cough), dennis, dont ban me, plz...., but really, do you really think all these people actually payed for it?maybe a couple rich people.......oh, but there is an alternative, go to turbosquid.com\gmax. download gmax, its a free whole program, not trial. you gotta register it tho, and you gotta download the exporter project blue streak, or chimp.1.6 hek plus comes with a tut i think, or find a tut vid on search on the haloce section o this site LOL *copies the word "Keygenz" and sends it to the CIA* I got g max, thats what i use, but then, why is it that when u go to the tags section of the website, almost all of them are for "3ds" and not g max. Another question, when something says "its for 3ds, and.max" does the .max mean g max?

.Max is the filetype used by 3ds Max. .3ds is for a different program, and .max files can be exported as .3ds. .gmax are gmax files.

Well.... You can find someone with 3ds and ask them to export it as .3ds, which I believe gmax can import... But that could be harder than it seems....

Quote: --- Original message by: church897Quote: --- Original message by: koryn Hey I Love Grunts welcome to the site. I have to say that everyone I really know who has 3ds max uses it ilegally. But, you can use gmax which is the 1.2 version of 3dsmax so it is free but there are limitations as in the plugins are not easy to find. My suggestion is go with the 30 - day trials and make a simple map with an older version of 3ds max like 3ds max 7 then when you get better use gmaxto make a model get the 30 day trial of the newest 3ds max and make it playable. I will not say where to get the ilegall **** because it is gay to use it no offense to any illegal people out there reading this but im sure if you searched you can find a plugin that will allow 3ds models into gmax. Actually if you can find 3ds max 1.2 its the same thing and it MIGHT be free as well but using the 3ds plugins idk you will have to search for that on your own. Hope I helped at all. Actually you can actually automatically import .3ds files into gmax Just go to file and click import Easy huh And nice amounts of posts koryn Edited by church897 on Sep 9, 2007 at 10:07 PM lol k thnx, and koryn, thnx for the welcome.
