i know this isn't really the greatest place to ask this but I can't really think of anywhere else too... so anyways:

i recently bought a seagate 250GB external HD.... and, the manual simply says "plug it into the power source, then plug it into a USB port on your computer" (literally that), and the first time it worked..... but now, windows doesn't pick it up anymore.... any ideas....
EDIT:
it was also working on sunday... but now it stopped again...

any help would be greatly appreciated.......
