I know that theres a post about all the things you need to make a map, but there are so many things to choose from.. im thinking that this will be easier, theres a few things i want, and any help is appreciated.


All i want to know is a list, and links, to EVERYTHING you need to make a detailed map from start to finish, and some tutorials on: Making custom buildings, custom skins, Scripting, making custom weapons, and custom vehicles.

I currently am using g max.

The only thing about the tutorials.. i dont want a list of 50000000 tutorials.. i want 1-3 GREAT ones. i have a GREAT one about g max and i dont need any more about that..

Overview:

-Links to every program that is needed to make a map from start to finish (the programs must be free)

-1-3 GREAT tutorials for making custom scenery, vehicles, weapons, and building, and caves. (tutorials with pics would be a great help.)

-Patches and fixes for some of the programs il be using.

Thnx nexus, but i specifically said i knew that was there, but there was too much to choose from, that's why i made this post

I prefer tutorials in pdf/txt form while others like videos, etc. Try them all until you find ones that you like.

all i want is one of each thing. you people know more about which tutorials are better then others thats why i made this post.

Not really, I don't think anyone has watched all of them. And how do we know which one would help you the best? Try them all until you find one that makes sense to you.
