hi i was just wondering wondering what 2 weapons you would use for attacking a base in cmt snowgrove.

mine would be an smg, and a ma5c

pistol and spiker (pistol for ranged combat, spiker for it's 1 hit 1 kill melee attack).

get in the enemy base and run around spikeing people. shoot the spiker at them in mid rage as you get closer, then when you can melee then and boom you got yourself a MC corndog.

Kiwi charges into the enemy with his mighty lance, impaling all those who oppose him. Kiwi also carries a sword if it gets too close for the lance.

shotgun-pistol or smg-assualt rifle

Spiker and SMG. Both are good assault weapons.

plasma pistol and battle rifle. charge plasma pistol to drain shields then use battle rifle to finish them off

yea but the rifle grenades dont do crap if you dont score a direct hit on them

kenney001 if it were someone else i would agree with those saying your botting. But i don't believe you would do that.

i would more say you are a snipe whore.

any weapon combo can be okay as long as gra*****piker for it's melee damage.

i also like PP and pistol, though i try to kill just using the PP if i can.

also a fun combo is spiker and needler.

EDIT: i am not cursing, just when you put grab_a_spiker without underscores the forum seems to think it's a curse word

I use every weapon on the map, I tend to have either a Flamer and a Spiker or a Flamer and a Shotty for up-close-and-personal attacks. BURN!

I like to use the AR and a BR..... I dont know why.

SMG and AR most of the time i leave the long range to my team

If I'm on blue, and they're doing good, I'll sit back and Snipe, keeping a Laser with me for warthogs.
If I'm red, I'll mostly do a Battle Rifle-Assault Rifle or Shotgun-Pistol or even the starting SMG-Pistol. My favorite though is my sniping and laser combo on blue.

there is no such thing a gay weapon or a noob weapon. if the designers put it in to use its fun, if people call you a noob for using it, so what, you are having fun and thats the point of halo. not to follow specific rules made by people suchs as "omg AR noob" or something.

FYI everyone, the Plasma Pistol and a human weapon is NOT a 'noob' combo.
Bungie made and put and ENCOURAGED people to use it for it's intended PURPOSE.

Yea, but I bet they never intended it to be an instant kill.... Nowadays, you're dead when the pistol shot hits you... Probably why in H3 the plasma pistol has no homing...

At least it gets rid of vehicles for a little, and looks awesome.

I'm the commander of my team because I'm so expirienced. For example: One time I set this barracade on the bridge in Icefields while some got the flag or protected the base.

i just get a spiker and run around meleeing ppl in the base...

i own barricade on coldsnap lol 103 wow thats crazy my weapons are a rock*found on the ground* and a pistol with no ammo*i own all lol* nah but seriously shotgun and pistol

yeah that's another one of my fav's

for me it depends what route your taking, how many people are on the other team, and how much lag is in the server.

for example: if you go through the tunnels with a shotgun and ur getting lag the shotgun cant b aimed good enoguh for a 1 or 2 shot kill.

but mainly heres my choices:

tunnels w\ some lag: spiker + sniper rifle, assault rifle + battle rifle, or a pistol and a spiker.
tunnels w\ no lag: shotgun + f thrower, assault rifle + sniper, anything with as shotgun
if your takign the teleporter, u want a sniper rifle and a shotgun, cause odd are people will pour out of teh tele..

when your taking the main road, take a sniper and a shotgun, aand thry to avoid firing at all. sometimes u can make it all the way to the top of the other base and noone knows you get ther.

the basic and bet overall wepon combo has 2 the assault rifle + battle rifle or either of them + pistol

So I'm not the only person who plays on that server that's in the forums!

Oh yeah I forgot, it doesn't matter what I've got for a weapon set. Just grab what I feel like and off I go! I'm so sneaky, the enemy never knows I'm there, until, the words pop up along with the voice saying "# Team Has The Flag.".

i think the pistol is so powerful becuase it shoots 12.5mm bullets if im not mistaken.. i think thats .50 cal which is huge not to mention the high explosiveness of the bullet. the scope was just to much

pistol and AR.
mid - longish range ownage tbh.

I don't know, probably a beta one they never got rid of.
But yeah, MA5C is great with a spiker, I still hate the MA5K...

On snowgrove MA5C and sniper. On other CMT maps BR and AR. Normal maps, pistol and shotgun.

BR-AR
Pistol-BR
Pistol-AC
Pistol-AR
Shotgun-Sniper
Shotgun-AR

Once in a while I'll get a RL (For anti-vehicle).

Ive found a new combo. it works great for zombies n CTF
ma5c assault rifle for med-close med ranges
m90 shotgun for close- med range

I use sniper rifle and that assault rifle by every bases exit. It's awesome for getting the flag.

Oh, and you might get flammed for bumping this topic. Not too many like these kinds of stuff.
