in your haloce root directory you will see a file called debug.txt post the botttom post of that.

Are you sure you posted a screen shot of all the files that are in your halo ce root directory. go into your directory and press "D" to search for it. It should be there, if it isn't i would reinstall the HEK as you could have deleated it or something. his advice was correct. reinstall the HEK if it isn't there. |

I delete mine on perpous to get it clean, it makes a new one next time you run a HEK tool. did you try to load sapien from a shortcut? because that probly could cause the debug to mess up, and it never loads right from a shortcuts.. but if you did, im amazed you got to there, because my sapien just completly fails from a shortcut without even attempting to open the scenario |

All of the HEK programs work just fine in Vista without any need to set compatibility. If your program is closing then it is either something unique with your system or or most likely an error in the scenario you are trying to open.

I got 1 map working, but still, I have to open it with the console, and the ground texture doesn't show. No vehicles or weapons would spawn in sapien <I was lucky enough to get spawn points in>
because of how fast it closes. I think it's just my system, I reinstalled the hek in attempt to get the debug.txt but it still isn't there, or anywhere for that matter. OMG!!!!!!!! I'M NOT THE ONE WHO IS WRONG!!! I tried to open the "tutorial" scenario in sapien and my maps last longer! tutorial closed instantly while mine stay open for like 2 seconds  Edited by Miso on Aug 6, 2007 at 04:11 PM |
