i know it is possible to make it so that a player will spawn as a random biped, the CMT did it, but how? also, is it possible to do this when the two possible bipeds have totally different third person animations? for a halo 2 MP level id like to make it so you will randomly spawn as either a spartan or an elite (an elite compatible with all the weapons in the map). also, can the two bipeds have different FP arms? anyone who can help with this will be obliged.

just make 2 premutations for hte multiple bipeds (it will defaultly be random) for the animations, I doubt you wana place both sets of bones in and animate each set for each premutation (the bones must exist in both premutations.. and even then, I dont know if that would 100% work) teh FP you just have to deal with.

actually, you're also supposed to make FP permutations too. that's how they made the colors of the spartan change in multiplayer, and the marine's faces change in SP, same with crewmen.

nope, and the body change is part of what I said before
The FP doesnt match the 3rd person permutation. color changing is done by the multiperpous map's blue, and the C color function (go open <TAGS>\characters\cyborg\cyborg.gbxmode, you'll see no premutations)

dang. it would make a nice addition to a map to have elite-cyborg combat. though they wouldnt be against each other, theyd be random.

The marines faces are controlled by random permutations (or most likely not as random, they scripted the one they wanted probably), and anyway, how is that FP? Last time I checked I couldnt see my own face......

that's not what I meant. oh, and there's this thing in the GBXmodel tag that says "Not selected at random" or some crap. That's how I made my special silver version of my warthog special... until my hard drive got wiped out.

ya, not chosen at random is the exact OPOSITE of what he wants, he wants it to randomly choose between a spartan and a elite, not require a script. and you cant target a FP to change it even if thats what your trying to blab about. and if you wanted to use scripts, you could do it without needing to click that anyways, scripts always work
