Ok, I have searched for a tutorial pretty thoroughly, but I didn't find much. I have been wondering how to do this every since I got Halo CE, I tried a few times, what I want to know is how to make a switch/button open a door, like the big doors that you open in d40 (Assualt on the Control Room). I have tried a few times, but I think it requires a script. I know it doesn't sync by default, buy I can easily do that via EHS.
Help would greatly be appreciated.

But that just makes it sync, doesn't it? I couldn't figure out how to do it in Sapien and Guerilla. Also in the EHS, your suppose to give the names of other scripts.

the script makes it sync, move when pressed by a button etc, but don't use that script ill be releasing another EHS that has an updated script that i made which is better

Doesn't matter, I can just use EHS to make it sync, but first I need to know how to make one. My question was how to get a door to open with a switch, not how to get it to sync.

no its 4 different scripts that run into each other causing everything to happen correctly

Wait, I did the script and everything, but It still doesn't work. I looked into the actuall script some, and I got how it worked a little. When I click the button, it does nothing, but if I go find the biped, and kill it, it opens the door. And I also realized that you can use most script parts in console in-game. So even when I teleported the Warthog to the flag it worked. So I figured the only thing that didn't work was that the button didn't trigger the Warthog to teleport to the flag. So is it just the specific device control I used???

There isn't a tutorial for this, is there?

where are you putting the trigger volume? also in sapien go on the device_machine and make sure "does not change automatically" is pressed

Ohh yeah, I forgot to ask you where to put the trigger volume lol. I tried alot of places, now it is around the two Warthogs, where is it suppose to be?

And yeah, I do have the does not "change automaticly thing" checked, or else wouldn't it start as soon as you star the game?

trigger volume gos around where the players will press the button, so make sure players can fit in it and press the button

Oooohhhhh, ok. Thinks alot H Guru. I always wanted to get a device in a level. Let alone making it sync.

If you still have problems just reply, but there is part of the code that you may need to update to work, if it still doesnt work just reply and ill give you the new code

Yay!! It worked fine! Except for if you press the button outside of the trigger volume, it does nothing and then you can't activate it that game.

And BTW, what about that new code? It's not like I would do a leak on your scripts or anything...... Naw, I guess I can just wait to the next version of EHS. In less of course you want to give the code to me now.
