ok, I have been looking around for some good tutorials for some time now, all the modeling ones I have found are either two blurry, go to fast, or just don't give the information a beginner needs. If you are going to make a tutorial you should think about who will be using them, and most likely noobs will be going to them, advanced people who know what you are talking about aren't going to be watching your tutorials, so you should explain what you are doing and stop assuming.

Anyways none of the tutorials explain to me how to work the views in Gmax, what I mean is how do you twist the camera around so that you can look from all angles, I know its possible because a few of the tutorials switch views every two seconds without explaining how to do it yourself.

Could someone please give me a link to a beginner modeling tutorial... I am trying to make a single player map. My goal is to make an indoor map where you are a grunt with possible jackals on your team... I would like to know how to expand halls, change views, and all the basics...

Thank you!

Thats cuz its a link to the homepage, not any tutorial.... An indoor map is the same as any outdoor one, except that it does not have a +sky material. Instead, it has a material that is anyone of the lights in halo, the blue strips/red strips/even gephyrobias purple strips. Or if you know how to make your own glow maps, make your own light texture. Then you just make the map look... Indoors-y....
