<sigh> I've done it again. What exactly does it mean by "there is no geometry linked to the frame."
The level and the frame need to be connected I know <I think I do.> but I dont exactly know how to do that, and I read the huge tutorial on map making and I guess it was so much info at once.. I totally forgot.

This works exactly the same if you're using gmax too.

oh lol, that's how it's done in 3d max but I know how to do it in gmax, and an easier way is just clicking the option next to select object with the black lines everywhere in the box, after you click selec and link, but now I'm having tool/chimp problems...

I figured so. just making sure I'm doing it right either way. But now it seems I did something else wrong and can't make bitmap tags and stuff using tool, get alot of errors, for example "could not read toolbeta.map" and when I try to make a bitmap tag:couldn't read toolbeta.map. Which I assume that has to do with some of my chimp problems, I extract the level to models of the "map name" or in this case "Newb" and when I go to the folder it's not in there after using grab listener to save it in the folder..So I'm stumped.

I love you kenny :) it seems I would have been stuck forever without ya :O.
ok now I think I'm at the final step, and maybe the final problem: when I open the scenario in sapien it freezes then just turns off.. and again just weirded out.

07.22.07 15:24:07 CreateDevice succeeded with refresh rate = 0
07.22.07 15:24:08 Sound card doesn't meet minimum hardware requirements. Disabling hardware option.

07.22.07 15:24:08 file_open('tags\levels\dodge\dodge.scenario') error 0x00000002 'The system cannot find the file specified. '
07.22.07 15:24:08 couldn't open scenario tag 'dodge.scenario'.
07.22.07 15:24:08 need to get the following tags:
07.22.07 15:24:08 levels\dodge\dodge.scenario
07.22.07 15:24:08
07.22.07 15:24:08 game_load() failed.

and if this is important my os is vista, and I can see the scenario file in guerilla and sapien but when I try to open it nothing happens:the 3rd time I opened it, it opened but then I went to place the vehicles and stuff and it just went up the poopshoot :(

yes about the dual core but...I HAVE the .scenario, but I can only see it in guerilla and sapien and perhaps that's the problem?

Or this could be it.. when I try to make the structure in tool it gives me a repeated error because it's trying to find "dodge.bitmap" but it doesn't exist..
